Mike began taking piano lessons at the age of 10. He continued taking lessons throughout grade school and high school while also dabbling with the saxaphone in the school bands. His first taste of playing with a band came in high school with a group of friends. Although the band did not play 'out' much, Mike says it was a great experience that broadened his musical horizons. After graduating high school, Mike quit his classical lessons and entered the world of liturgical music. Mike has played at a number of churches throughout the Archdiocese of Detroit, presently at St. Lawrence. Mike has very much enjoyed playing as a member of WIP and loves performing/being on stage . He is WIP's self-proclaimed 80's fanatic!
